Permissions given to 5 pvt firms for coronavirus tests revoked
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Sunday revoked the permission of COVID-19 test given to five private health organisations as they failed to start the tests in spite of getting permission.

The organisations are Care Medical College Hospital, Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital, Stemz Health Care, Thyrocare Diagnostic and Epic Health Care.

DGHS additional director general Nasima Sultana in separate notices announced the suspension.

She said the organisations would get back the approval upon fulfilling the requirements of lab, RT-PCR machines and test kits.

Further permission will be given to them after physical inspections, she said.
