Import, export through Benapole-Petrapole land ports resume

Export-important activities between India and Bangladesh have resumed on Saturday morning by road after 75 days of suspension.

The administrations of the two countries and business leaders took the decision at a meeting held at Zero Point area on Thursday.

The truck drivers will be tested for coronavirus before they cross into the border. The trucks would be able to leave the border areas on the same day after unloading goods.

The import and export activities through the Benapole and Petrapole land ports suspended on March 23 due to coronavirus pandemic.
