Seven fined for violating C-19 guidelines in Khulna

KHULNA, June 3: Mobile courts here fined seven persons for violating coronavirus related guidelines including unnecessary movement, shops remain not shuttered by 4pm and defying social distancing in last 24 hours as of 10:00am on Wednesday.
The mobile courts fined around Taka 14,500 conducting drives in different areas of the city.
Executive magistrates Md. Ismail Hossain, Tapsi Rabia and Md. Abdullah-Al-Faisal of Khulna district administration conducted the special mobile courts to monitor whether people maintains coronavirus related guidelines.
Executive magistrate Md. Ismail Hossain said some defiant persons were penalized for infringing 'stay at home' guidelines, opening shops by extended time and not maintaining social distancing.
Additional district magistrate Md. Yousuf Ali of Khulna said eight more people were fined under Section 188, 269 of Penal Code 1860.    -BSS
