Anju Jain favourite to replace Atul Bedade as coach for the Baroda women's team

Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) has decided in principle to appoint a woman coach for the women's team, it is learnt here.
According to the sources in the association, the decision has been taken recently after some sexual harassment allegations were surfaced against Atul Bedade and he was suspended".
"Though Bedade has been exonerated by the Apex Body, he won't be continuing with the women's team", the sources in the association said.
Bedade's son, Tasmay, is a member of the Under-19 team and with the conflict of interest clause in place, he won't take up the junior coaching but may still get a chance to coach the sub-junior team.
Former India wicket-keeper Anju Jain is favourite to replace Bedade. Anju Jain has extensive coaching experience and was also the head coach of the Bangladesh women's team. She has played 8 Tests and 65 ODIs.
One more woman cricketer from Kolkata and two males from Baroda have also sent applications.
