'No HSC exams until favourable condition exists'

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has informed that HSC examinations would not be held until favourable condition exists in the country.

"This year's HSC exams is scheduled to be held from April 1. Despite all preparations, the exams could not be held because of coronavirus situation," said the minister while publishing the results of SSC and equivalent examinations on facebook live on Sunday.

"As social distancing could not be ensured in the exam centres, we'll have to raise the number of centres to a large extent," she said, adding, "Otherwise the examinees will remain under massive health risks. We can't bear such risk at this moment in any way."

The minister also informed that whenever the favourable time comes, at least two weeks times will be given for examinees to take preparations.
