Results of SSC, equivalent exams published; Pass rate 82.87%

The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations were published on Sunday morning where the pass rate is 82.87 per cent.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni handed over a copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10am for announcement.
Later, the Prime Minister formally announced the results through a video conference from Ganobhaban.
Some 1,35,898 student achieved GPA-5 this year.
In the previous year, the pass rate was 82.2 per cent.
Of the general education boards, Rajshahi recorded the highest pass rate – 90.37 per cent.
This year, the SSC and equivalent exams began on February 3 which ended on February 27 and March 6 respectively.
A total of 20,40,028 students took part in the exams from around 29,000 educational institutions across the country.
To get the results via SMS, students will have to register for the service by typing "SSC(space)first three letters of board(space)roll number(space)2020" and send it to 16222 from any mobile phone at a cost of Tk 2.55.
