Bangladesh imports onions from India after 2-month

Bangladesh has started importing onions from India after two months' of suspension.

The first onion-laden train from India came to Hili Rail Station on Thursday morning. Later, the onions have been sent to different places incluidng Dhaka, said Hili land port importer Shahidul Islam Shahid.

He said the onion import has been suspended for the last two months due to coronavirus situation.
