The government has issued a gazette notification allowing limited movement of public transports till June 15 after the end of 66 days' general holidays.
The Cabinet Division issued the notification on Thursday.
Operations of the public transport services like buses, trains and launches will begin with a fixed number of passengers and maintaining health guidelines from May 31.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Public Administration Ministry informed the government has decided not extend the general holidays after May 30.
In an order on Thursday, the Cabinet Division said the government will outline the steps that will have to be taken to resume public transport services between May 31 and Jun 15.
The general holidays were announced in March and were extended till May 30 in phases to prevent the transmission of deadly coronavirus.
