Child violated in Turag, accused held

A six-yer-old girl has allegedly fell victim of violation in city's Turag area.

Police, however, detained the accused on  Wednesday.

Turag police SI Niaz told the daily Observer that accused Mostafa is a butchar. He hails from Sarishabari upazila of Jamalpur.

Locala said the child used to stay alone at home in Nolbhog area when her garment worker mother goes to workplace.

Taking the advantage, her neighbour Mostafa often came to their home and shut the door.

Mostafa did the same thing for last three days  that made other neighbours suspicious.

The man entered the child's house on Wednesday morning and violated her. A neighbouring woman on the upstairs recorded the act on her mobile phone.

Later, she cought Mostafa with the help of others and handed him over to police.
