The government has extended the ongoing general holiday till April 25 to prevent the transmission of deadly coronavirus.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard.
The notification also instructed all citizens to stay at their respective homes and not to come out of home after 6pm without any emergency.
If anyone violates the instruction will be brought under legal action. Moving from one area to other is also restricted strictly, it said.

All the educational institutions have also been declared closed to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
But kitchen markets, food shops, pharmacies, hospitals and all emergency services will remain out of the purview of the general holidays.
