2 Laxmipur boys test negative for coronavirus after death

Two boys in Kamalnagar upazila of Laxmipur district, who have recently died with coronavirus symptoms, tested negative for coronavirus. 

Of them, Habib of Torabganj area died of itching and respiratory complications while Imon of Charmartin died from fever. 

Their samples were sent to Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) in Chattogram's Faujdarhat for test. Later, they were found negative for the virus.   

Kamalnagar upazila health and family planning officer Dr Abu Taher confirmed the matter on Thursday morning.

However, lockdown on the deceased's houses was lifted after getting the report, he added.
