Drives in city hospitals to ensure doctors' presence


Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection has started special drives at private hospitals in the capital to ensure doctors' presence.

Some sources complaint that doctors' presence at the hospital are decreasing day by day fearing deadly coronavirus.





For this, the drives led by Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection's deputy director Manzur Mohammad Shahriar began from Saturday morning. They conducted the drives at popular hospitals in Dhaka.  

Mohammad Shahriar said, "The government announced general holidays till April 11. But the doctors are out of the purview. We heard that patients are not getting treatment as the doctors are remain absent at the hospitals, specially the private hospitals in Dhaka."
