Coronavirus: Saudi-returnee tests positive in Dhaka's Nawabganj

A Saudi-returnee was infected with coronavirus in Nawabganj upazila of Dhaka.

Upazila Health Officer Dr Shahidul Islam confirmed the matter on Tuesday night after getting his health report from IEDCR.

Upazila administration kept the victim's family and the members of nearby houses under home quarantine.





The man returned home from Saudi Arabia on March 17.

The samples of four persons including three foreign returnees have been sent to the IEDCR on March 29. 

Dr Shahidul said, "We kept some 540 foreign returnees under home quarantine after their arrival."
