Mugda Hospital giving 24hr telemedicine services


Dhaka's Mugda Medical Hospital is giving 24 hour service across the country through telemedicine.





Any person can take service anytime from the 500-bed government hospital which started from March 26. 

Shaheed Md Sadiqul Islam, director of the hospital, said, "People in the capital and other districts are now staying indoors to prevent coronavirus infection. In this circumstances, our hospital started giving 24 hour telemedicine services from March 26 which is very much responding."

Mugda Hospital on-duty officials informed that they are receiving 15-20 phone calls daily. Most callers are suffering from cold, cough, fever. The phone numbers and addresses of the callers are registered in the hospital registry book.
