Youth dies in Noakhali, police cordons off building

Police have cordoned off a residential building at Chomuhani of Noakhali following the death of a young man of fever and cold.
Local administration on Thursday night asked all the residents of the building to go for quarantine.
Begumganj Model Police OC harunur Rashid told media that the man, aged around 23, has been suffering from fever for last few days.
The man, an assistant at a physician's chamber, was being treated at his home near Choumuhani Public Hall.
He was taken to Noakhali General Hospital on Thursday night when he started vomiting blood. But, the doctor on-duty declared him dead.
Hospital's RMO syed Mohiuddin Abdul Azim said the man was declared dead at the emergency unit. "He might have died of cardiac arrest," he said.
Begumganj upazila health offician Dr Asim Kumar das informed samples of the deceased was sent to Dhaka and IEDCR has been informed about the matter.
