Doctor, nurses among 688 home-quarantined in Pabna
Around 3,000 returnees untraced
A patient at Pabna General Hospital was kept in quarantine suspecting coronavirus infection while nine doctors and nurses of the hospital were also sent to home quarantine.
A total of 688 people were quarantined in Pabna district, adding 57 new people in last 24 hours till Wednesday.
Pabna civil surgeon Dr Mehedi Hasan Iqbal confirmed the matter.
However, no one was admitted to Isolation Unit of the hospital over coronavirus.
Meanwhile, around 3,000 foreign returnees have still remain untraced. Police went to their houses but did not find them, said district deputy civil surgeon Dr KM Abu Zafar.
None tested positive for coronavirus in the district, Abu Jafar added.
