![]() Navy works in coastal areas to curb Covid-19 Members of Bangladesh Navy started their fieldwork in the coastal districts to help the civil administration to tackle current situation following coronavirus outbreak, said a press release. Some 17 officials and 186 members of Khulna Navy region in eight contingents were deployed in coastal areas that includes Barguna Sadar, Amtali, Betagi, Bamna, Patharghata, and Taltali upazilas. Meanwhile, Sixteen officials and 144 members of Chattogram Navy region in seven contingents also started their works in coastal area of Bhola Sadar, Borhanuddin, Daulatkhan, Charfesson, Manpura, Lalmohan, Tajumuddin, Sandwip, Hatia, Teknaf, Kutubdia, and Moheshkhali upazilas. They were deployed in the areas under “In Aid to Civil Power” to ensure the civil administration ensure that people maintain social distancing and coronavirus suspects remain in quarantine to prevent the spread of the COVID-19.
