Khaleda refuses to take advanced treatment; Order afternoon

Jailed BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia did not allow medical board of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) to provide her with advanced treatment.
The medical report which has been sent to the court from BSMMU on Thursday confirmed the matter.
Supreme Court Registrar General Md Ali Akber placed the report before the High Court bench of Justice Obaidul Hassan and Justice AKM Zahirul Huq this morning.
Meanwhile, the bench is scheduled to deliver its order later on the day on a bail petition filed by the BNP Chief in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case.
As per the report, Khaleda has been ailing from high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma and arthritis but these are under control. Now she is suffering from back pain but did not allow the medical board to provide advanced treatment.
On October 29, 2018, a special court jailed the BNP chief and three others for seven years in the corruption case.
