Bangladeshi 'picked up by BSF'

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) allegedly picked up a Bangladesh national from bordering Khalishakothal area in Fulbari upazila of Kurigram district on Wednesday night.

The Bangladesh national is identified as Nurnabi Mia,32, son of Maqbul Hossain of Khochabari village in the upazila. He has long been working in a brick kiln in Indian capital of New Delhi.

Locals and BGB sources said the BSF members of Korola camp under BSF battalion-38 picked up Nurnabi from near 934 No pillar at about 10:30pm when he was  returning home from India.

BGB Lalmonirhat 15 battalion commander Lt Col SM Touhid Ul Alam said process is underway to bring back the youth.
