Condition of coronavirus-infected Bangladeshi in Singapore 'critical'



The condition of one of the Bangladeshi national in Singapore, infected with coronavirus, is critical.

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen told this to journalists at InterContinental Hotel in the capital on Wednesday.

"Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan informed me that the condition of the 39-year-old Bangladesh is critical. He
has been undergoing treatment at the Incentive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital for the last 13 days," said Abdul Momen.

The patient is not responding to the treatment, said the minister adding that he has been suffering from multiple health issues, including respiratory complication.

The Singapore government is taking care of the critically ill Bangladesh citizen.





A total of five Bangladeshis, infected with the virus, have been undergoing treatment in Singapore hospital.
