No coronavirus case found in country: IEDCR

The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) today said no case of Coronavirus was found in the country.

IEDCR Director Prof Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora said this at a press conference at the institute’s office at Mahakhali, BSS reports.

“Don’t be panicked with Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as no case was found till today… We also don’t have any medical report to this end,” she said.

Quoting the latest news of Consulate of the Republic of Singapore on Coronavirus, she said five Coronavirus affected Bangladeshis were admitted to Singaporean hospitals.

Of them, one is at Incentive Care Unit (ICU) while four others were kept in quarantine, she said.

She said a total of 77 Coronavirus affected patients are undergoing treatment in Singapore. The 312 Bangladeshis who returned home from China’s Wuhan are safe, she said.
