5 SSC examinees hurt in road crash

Five Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinees were injured as a CNG-run auto-rickshaw hit covered van in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Monday afternoon.

Five examinees, including Masud Parvej, Rizbah, Eka, and Marzina, sat for the examination at Alhaj Ali-Asia High School centre.

Witnesses said the auto-rickshaw, carrying the five students, hit hard a covered van in Hoaikyang Nayabazar area around 1:30pm when they were returning home from the centre after completing Bangladesh and Bishaw Porichoy examination.

The injured were taken to local hospital and relieved after first aid.
