Woman’s body found in Cox’s Bazar hotel



Police recovered the body of a woman from a hotel room in Adalat area of tourist resort district Cox’s Bazar early Monday.

Deceased Mariam Begum, 29, was the wife of Shamsul Alam of Tutur Bil area in Ukhia upazila, according to THE hotel register.

Mariam and Shamsul Alam identifying them husband and wife checked in 'Hotel Mousumi' two days ago.

The hotel authority informed police at early hours as they did not get response from the room.





Police recovered the body from under a bed in the room and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue, Sadar Police Station officer in-charge (Investigation) Md Khairuzzaman confirmed.
