Missing minor girl's throat-slit body found

The throat-slit body of a minor girl, who went missing on Wednesday afternoon,  was found in Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj district early Thursday.

Deceased Suma Khanam,6, was the daughter of Mizan Sheikh of Chapta village in the upazila. She was a first grader at Chapta 22 No Govt Primary School.

Kashiani police SI Ganesh Biswas said Suma went missing from Capta rail station on Wednesday afternoon.

Local poeple found the body at an abandoned place in Kusumdia village around 3am and informed police.

Police said miscreants cut tendons of Sumas hands and legs and slaughtered her.
