A wedding couple have been criticised for setting up a photo showing the bride and her bridesmaids kneeling down in front of the groom and his groomsmen
Planning a wedding day comes hand-in-hand with the pressure of knowing your guests will judge and compare your every move.
As photos of your big day flood social media, any potential pitfalls can be immortalised forever - and open up your ceremony to the scrutiny of the world.
From a couple who updated their Facebook statuses to 'married' on their phones during the ceremony to bridemaids who were trolled for being given 'bin bag' dressers and trainers, it seems no one is safe.
But one couple's 'quirky' wedding snap has been torn apart online after it was posted to Reddit with a caption branding it 'the worst seen to date'.
The photo shows the groom and his groomsmen stood in a line on the grass with big smiles on their faces as the bride and her bridesmaids pose kneeling down at their feet.
No one in the comments could agree whether the move was sexually suggestive or an act of 'submission', but everyone was unanimous in the feeling that the set-up should never be repeated ever again.
One replied: "Tacky as it gets. I would be the b***h that would absolutely refuse to do the photo even if it made a giant scene at the wedding.
"Just being asked would probably end the friendship."
A second echoed the disgust, writing: "Yep. I've been a bridesmaid more times than I care to discuss and I would 100% not do this.
"The bride had better have said something about it ahead of time so I could tell her and she could replace me because Jason Momoa himself couldn't convince me to do this."
A wedding snapper also joined in, adding: "As a photographer I would refuse to take the photo. No way is my name going on something this trashy. Get Aunt Karen to take it. She’s been shadowing all of my shots anyway."
Another simply added: "Instant divorce for sure right after the ceremony."
