15 PSTU students expelled for ragging

The authorities of Patuakhali Science & Technology University (PSTU) have expelled 15 students for their alleged involvement in ragging fellow students.

The university registrar Swadesh Chandra Samanta issued a notice in this regard on Thursday afternoon.

According to the notice, 15 students have expelled for one semester (January-June, 2020)  following a decision taken in the 37th meeting of the student discipline board.

The expelled students are Ramjan Sheikh, Md Samiul Islam, Md Jahangir Alam, Md Sifat Hossain, Md Khalid Hasan Minu and Bony Hossain of Agriculture Faculty; Monirul Islam, Md Mehedi Hasan, Bhuyian Md Safwan and Muktadir Ahmed of Business Administration; Md Jaiadul Haque Miraji, Md Shaheen, of Nutrition and Food Science Faculty; SK Sefatul Islam, Md Mohtasin Araf and Sakib Ahmed Partho of Fisheries Faculty.
