Last phase of Ijtema ends with Akheri Munajat

Devotees from home and abroad joined the final prayer of second phase of Biswa Ijtema that ended on Sunday.

Maulana Mohammad Jamshed of India's Delhi conducted the munjat, began around 11:50am, seeking divine blessings for all.

The three-day Ijtema began on Friday on the banks of the Turag River in Tongi with general sermons after Fazr prayers with the participation of followers of Indian Islamic preacher Maulana Muhammad Saad Al Kandhalvi.

Five devotees, have so far, died at the Ijtema venue during the second phase.

On January 12, the 1st phase of the Ijtema ended through Akheri Munajat where followers of Maulana Zubair Hassan took part.
