Sangram editor arrested under Digital Security Act

Abu Asad, editor of Daily Sangram, was arrested in a case filed under the Digital Security Act.

Police said Abul Asad sent to court on Saturday showing him arrest in the following case filed by one Mohammad Afzal, a freedom fighter.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Tejgaon Division deputy Commissioner Biplob Bijay Talukder confirmed the matter.

On Friday, leaders and activists of Muktijuddho Mancha vandalised the office of the Daily Sangram which published an article describing executed war criminal Abdul Quader Molla as a ‘martyr’.
