A Bangladeshi has died after a dry branch of a tree fell on him in Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.

Deceased Al Mamun, 38, hailed from Dhanbari upazila of Tangail.

Witnesses said a dry branch of a tree suddenly fell on Mamun's head when he was taking rest under the tree in Puchong area on Monday, leaving him injured.

Critically wounded Mamum was taken to Hospital Serdang where he succumbed at 1am Tuesday.

The body was kept at the hospital mortuary, said the victim's colleague Ismail Hossain.
