Mymensingh bus owners observing strike

Mymensingh bus owners are observing an indefinite strike for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.

Following the strike, the bus communication of Mymensingh with all routes remained suspended, causing severe sufferings to the commuters.

Earlier on Monday afternoon, leaders of Mymensingh District Motor Vehicle Workers' Union enforced the strike protesting an assault on three workers by some BRTC bus staff  at a terminal in Shambhuganj Bridge area.

Mymensingh traffic police inspector Sayed Mahbubur Rahman said, "We will try to solve the matter after meeting with transport workers and owners."
