Boy killed in Rajshahi road crash

A teenage boy was killed in a road accident in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi.

The incident took place on the Dhaka-Rajshahi highway in Biraldah Maipara area around 7.00pm on Sunday.

Son of Ketab Ali, deceased Sefat Ali, was a resident of Tonapara village in the upazila.

Kajal Kumar Nandi, in-charge of Paba Highway Police Camp, said a vehicle hit the boy in the area, leaving him critically injured.

Locals rescued him but died on the way to hospital, added Nandi.
