Confidence Cem declares 30pc dividend

The Board of Directors of Confidence Cement Limited (Confidence Cem) has recommended 30 per cent dividend - 15 per cent cash dividend and 15 per cent stock dividend - for its shareholders for the year concluded on June 30, 2019.
Its annual general meeting (AGM) will be held at CBC Confidence Cement Convention Centre at East Patenga in Chattogram at 11:00am on December 22.
The company's record date for the AGM was on November 21, 2019.
It has reported EPS of Tk 6.01, NAV per share of Tk 67.24 and NOCFPS of Tk (7.32) the same year as against Tk 5.67 (restated), Tk 74.73 (restated) and Tk (9.43) respectively for the same period of the previous year.
GPH Ispat proposes 10pc dividend
The Board of Directors of GPH Ispat Limited (GPH Ispat) has recommended 10 per cent dividend - 5 per cent cash  and 5 per cent stock for its shareholders for the year ended on June 30, 2019.
The GPH Ispat's annual general meeting (AGM) will be held at City Hall Convention Centre on Agrabad Access Road in Chattogram at 11:00am on December 26.
The company's record date for the AGM was on November 21, 2019.
It has also reported EPS of Tk 2.24, NAV per share of Tk 17.59 and NOCFPS of Tk 1.61 for the same year as against Tk 2.03 (restated), Tk 16.87 (restated) and Tk 0.49 respectively for the same period of the previous year.
New Line now to hold 19th AGM Dec 30
The 19th annual general meeting (AGM) of New Line Clothings Limited (New Line) will now be held at 10:30am on December 30 instead of December 21 at 10:30am.




Other information in connection with the company's AGM will remain unchanged.

Popular Life: National Credit Ratings Limited (NCR) has assigned the surveillance insurers financial strength rating to Popular Life Insurance Company Limited (Popular Life) as 'AAA' in the long term and 'ST-1' in the short term along with a stable outlook based on its audited financial statements of December 31, 2018 and Interim financial statements as on September 30, 2019.
