Chattogram Challengers ready to face all BBPL teams
Chattogram Challengers formed a team which could give every team a run for their money, said its wicket-keeper Nurul Hasan Sohan.
Speaking to the media during the practice session of the team at the Academy Ground of Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, the wicket-keeper batsman hoped that his team won't face that much trouble to seal the first four spot.
"Every seven teams of the tournament are balanced but I am hopeful that we would do better," he said here today.
"Our initial target is to seal the first four spot to make us eligible for the play-off stages after which we'll definitely give shot to clinch the trophy."
All of the teams of Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League (BBPL), which is a special edition of BPL to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has officially started their practice session.
Chattogram Challengers though didn't get whole team in the practice session as of now, Sohan believes that won't be problematic for them to make a proper co-ordination.
"Some of our foreign players are yet to reach the country. The officials could say when they will. But from our part, we are taking the best preparation. Hopefully there will be no problem to have a proper co-ordination with the team," Sohan, who played three Tests, two ODIs and nine T20 Internationals for Bangladesh, added.
He said the players are determined to give their best to clinch the trophy.
"In T20 cricket anything can happen. Those who will play well on their given day will win the match. It is as simple as that. Here we saw every team is well balanced, so as we. I think if we can give our best in the ground, we will emerge out as winner. That's the target indeed," he opined. -BSS
