Court orders to seize assets of 4 fugitive accused

A Dhaka court has ordered to confiscate the assets of four fugitives accused in BUET student Abrar Fahad murder case.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Kaysarul Islam passed the order on Tuesday after taking the chargesheet into account.
The four accused are: Morsheduzzaman Jisan, Ehteshamul Rabbi Tanim, Morshed Islam and Mustaba Rafid.
Earlier on November 18, the same court had issued an arrest warrant against the four fugitive accused. Apart from the order, the court had fixed December 3 to submit report if the fugitive accused were arrested or not.
The order to seize the assets of four fugitives was given today though the accused were not arrested within this time.
Abrar Fahad, 21, a second year student of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), was found dead at his dormitory Sher-e-Bangla Hall in the early hours of October 7.
