Petrol pump owners' strike continues

Fuel supply in Rajshahi, Khulna, and Rangpur divisions remained stopped for the second consecutive day on Monday following the strike that began on Sunday.

Petrol pump owners are observing their indefinite strike to press home their 15-point demands.

Vehicle drivers are facing troubles as all filling stations in the three divisions stopped selling and transportation of fuel oil.

Besides, the strike also caused suffering to the passengers as the vehicles are few in number on roads.

Earlier on Friday, Bangladesh Petrol Pump and Tank Lorry Malik-Sramik Oikya Parishad leaders called the strike.

On November 26, they gave an ultimatum until November 30 to fulfill their 15-point demand.
