Nazmun awarded ‘Peace Torch Award’
Najmun Nahar, the first female world traveler in the history of Bangladesh who traveled more than hundred countries with the flag of Bangladesh, has been bringing up honour for the country one after another.
After travelling 135 countries, which itself a historical record, she got prestigious awards like 'Peace Torch Award' and 'Daughter of the Earth' in New York. What makes those two awards more prestigious in this world that It's an award, which was given to the world leaders and the respectable leaders like Mother Teresa, who dedicated her life for the better of the human being.
Nazmun Nahar got those two awards on October 27 in Queen's "Shree Chinmoy Oneness Heart Center Aspiration Ground.
She was worn the 'peace torch award' by Miss Horita, a famous athlete from New Zealand who won the race of 3100 mile.
Led by Dr. Mohatopa Palit, the director of Shree Chinmoy Oneness Heart Center, a total of 10 American female, who wore the Bangladeshi saree, rendered the Bangladesh's national song and peace song to welcome Nazmun. During that period she was handed the peace torch. With the red-green flag, Nazmun Nahar has been travelling the world in a bid to introduce Bangladesh to the rest of the world and at the same time, her prime goal to visit those countries was to empower the women and the freedom of the repressed people regardless of the ethnicity, religion and cast. She has already travelled 135 countries, for which she was recognized with the respectable award like 'Peace Torch Award.' This is itself a matter of pride for Bangladesh since it's the award which got the famous personality of the world.
It is noted that nine times Olympic Gold Winner Carl Lewis first got this 'Peace Torch Award.' Thereafter the likes of Mikhail Gorbachev, Nelson Mandela, Maya Angelo also got his award. Apart from them, other famous personalities of the world also got this prestigious award.
Alongside this award, Nazmun Nahar earlier got the award likes Miss Earth Queen Award, Youth Global Award, Atish Dipankar Gold Medal, Jhonta International Award, Red Crescent Motivational Award and many more. Nazmun Nahar currently has been staying in Bangladesh.
