Bus strike enters 4th consecutive day

An indefinite bus strike is continuing for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday, though truck-covered van workers withdrew their strike from today after a meeting with the Home Minister.

The four hours meeting ended at early hours where  Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal assured the transport owners and workers of considering their reasonable demands.

Protesting bus drivers in different districts, including Khulna, Narail, Kushtia, kept their buses off this morning too.

The workers were on strike from Monday protesting the implementation of new Road Transport Act.
