Bus strike continues for 3rd consecutive day


Transport workers in different districts are observing their indefinite bus strike for the third consecutive day on Wednesday protesting the implementation of new Road Transport Act. 

Commuters, specially students and office goers, are facing untold sufferings as buses remained off the roads.

In Narayanganj, workers went on work stoppage from this morning expressing solidarity to the indefinite strike enforced by transport owners and workers.

The agitating workers kept buses off the long routes such as Dhaka-Narayanganj, Dhaka-Sylhet and Dhaka-Chattogram highways.

They also took position in Signboard area.

The workers were on strike from Monday protesting the implementation of new Road Transport Act.
