'Listed drug trader' killed in Dhaka ‘gunfight’


A 'listed drug dealer' was killed in a reported gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members in old Dhaka's Hazaribag area early Wednesday.

Deceased Nadim Bahadur, 38, was an accused in nine cases filed with different Police Stations.

RAB Legal and Media Wing Senior Assistant Director ASP Mizanur Rahman said the gunfight took place in the area at early hours that left Bahadur dead on the spot.





A foreign pistol, firearms and huge amount of drugs were recovered from the scene.
