NETRAKONA, Nov 19: Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar, MP, said Bangladesh has become a role model of development in the world. The socio-economic condition of the people has improved and the country has already become a digitalised one under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The minister said this while addressing a function to hand over the acquisitioned lands for Sheikh Hasina University to the authority at the conference room of local deputy commissioner (DC) in the town on Monday as chief guest.
Waresat Hussain Belal, Bir Pratik, MP, and Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office Sazzadul Hasan were present as special guests while Vice-Chancellor of the university Professor Dr Rafiquallah Khan presided over the programme.
DC Main-ul-Islam, Zila Parishad Chairman Proshanta Kumar Roy, Superintend of Police Akbar Ali Munshi, Netrakona Municipality Mayor Nazrul Islam Khan, and President of district Awami League Motitur Rahman Khan, among others, were also present at that time.  
Later, the Minister Mustafa Jabbar formally inaugurated an innovation and training centre styled 'Sapnochura' at the DC office.
