Railway removes 200 illegal structures in Bogura  
Railway authorities in Bogura on Tuesday evicted some 200 illegal structures built on its land in Bogura district town.

During the drives, conducted by the Estate department of the Bangladesh Railway (BR), demolished over 200 shops in Sutrapur mouja till 5pm.

Lalmonirhat state officer Rezaul Karim told media that the drive will continue to reclaim the railway land. 

BR sources said the railway authorities had leased out one and half acres of land among 158 people in Sutrapur mouja.

According to the regulation, the leasees  should have to pay the money within 15 days. 

But, they did not pay the money and constructed shops on the land.





Before beginning of the drive, the BR authorities held campaign.
