CoU students demand end of session jam

Students of Archeology Department at Cumilla University (CoU) have staged demonstration demanding an end of the session jam and fullfil their five-point demands.

They boycotted classes and examinations and brought out a procession from in front of the administrative building at about 9:00 am on Monday to press home for their demands.

The five-point demands include removal of the session jam, formation of specific academic class routine and completing viva and field work within one month of the end of pair semesters exams.

Later, the university vice-chancellor Dr Emran Kabir Chowdhury met a team of the demonstrating students and assured them of solving the problems.

He also agreed to the five-point demands raised by the students.
