PSC, Ebtedayee Terminal Exams begins

Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations-2019 began on November 17 (Sunday) across the country with the participation of 29, 03,638 examinees.
As many as 25, 53,267 examinees are appearing at the PSC examinations while 350,371 students are participating at Ebtedayee examinations this year.
Of the PSC examinees, 11, 81,300 are male and 13, 71,967 girls while of 350,371 Ebtedayee examinees 187,082 male candidates and 163,289 females.
A total of 7,470 centres for PSC and Ebtedayee examinations include 7,452 in the country and 12 abroad and the examinations will continue till November 24.
A total of 3,347 PSC and 236 Ebtedayee differently abled students would appear at the examinations this year.
Meanwhile, amidst the exams a rumor is being spread out that the questions of PSC have been leaked out.
When asked about it State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossen said they had taken effective measures to prevent question leakage.
Besides, we will also take action against the person engaged in spreading such rumour, he said while talking to the Daily Observer over phone.
"The authorities concerned have taken adequate measures to hold the examinations peacefully with transparency," he added.
