Swimming team make courtesy call with Navy Chief

The SA Games-bound Bangladesh swimming team made a courtesy call with the president of Bangladesh Swimming Federation and Chief of Bangladesh Navy Aurangzeb Chowdhury at the Naval Headquarters, Banani in the city on Sunday.
A total of twenty two national swimmers - thirteen of men's and nine of women's - will represent Bangladesh in the eight-nation South Asian Biggest extravaganza scheduled to be held on December 1-10 in Khathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal.
The swimming team is expected to leave for Nepal this evening in order to get an expected result in the Games, the swimming team will take part a fifteen days high altitude training camp in Nepal.
Besides, six swimmers - three of boys and three of girls - of Bangladesh Army and Navy picked up from talent hunt, three coaches and two officials will also
accompany with the swimming team.     -BSS
