UNO's car hits 2 PEC examinees

Two Primary Education Completion (PEC) examinees were injured as the car of Pirojpur's Mathbaria UNO hit them on Sunday.

Injured Parveen, 10, daughter of Kamal Hawlader, and Fatema, 9, daughter of Emadul Choukidher, are undergoing treatment at Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.

Locals said the car of UNO GM Sarfaraj hit the duo on Ikri road in Bhandaria upazila at noon when they were crossing the road after taking part in the PEC examination, leaving them critically injured.
