Bangla Tribune's journalist found dead


Police on Saturday evening recovered the body of a journalist worked with Bangla Tribune, a online news portal, from his rented house in city's Banasree area.

Mansur Ali, 33, worked as sub-editor at the news portal. He hailed from Kotalpara of Fenshuganj upazila of Sylhet.

Police's Khilgaon Zone senior assistant commissioner Julfikar Ali said they broke opened the door of Mansur's house and recovered his body.

The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue, the police official added.

Mansur Ali joined Bangla Tribune as sub-editor in 2017. Earlier, he worked with national daily Ittefaq.





In his sudden death, Bangla Tribune family mourned.
