Three killed in three districts

Three persons were killed in separate incidents in three districts- Bogura, Rajshahi and Joypurhat, in three days.
BOGURA: Miscreants allegedly hacked a trader to death at Bhaber Bazaar in Sadar Upazila of the district on Thursday morning.
Deceased Abdur Rahim, 50, was the son of Mozahar Ali of Chawkjhopu Jigatala area in the upazila. He was the owner of a hatchery.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bogura Sadar Police Station (PS) SM Bodiuzzaman said a group of miscreants hacked the trader, leaving him dead on the spot.
The trader might have been killed over previous enmity, the OC said.
The body was sent to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy, the OC added.
RAJSHAHI: A man allegedly beat his wife, a mother of three children, to death over family feud at Fatehpur Mandalpara Village in Charghat Upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.
Deceased Nasima Akhter, 37, was the wife of Tufan Sheikh of the village.
Quoting locals, Charghat PS OC Samit Kumar Kundu said Tufan brutally beat his wife on Tuesday afternoon following a family feud.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
Nasima's father filed a murder case with in this connection, the OC added.
JOYPURHAT: A man allegedly slaughtered his elder stepbrother over family feud at Dashora Fakir Para Village in Khetlal Upazila of the district on Monday night.
Deceased Khazamuddin was the son of late Jasim Uddin of the village.
Locals caught the younger brother Saddam Hossen and handed him over to police.
Khetlal PS OC SM Siddikur Rahman said following the feud, the younger brother came to his elder brother's house at 9:30pm on Monday. At one stage of an altercation, he slaughtered his elder brother.
As the deceased's servant Montaz Ali rushed to save him, Saddam also chopped him, leaving him seriously injured.
He was admitted to Zila Adhunik Hospital.

A murder case was filed in this connection with the PS.
