B'baria train collision: Probe bodies formed

Three separate probe committees have been formed to investigate the main reason of the fatal train accident in Brahmanbaria at early hours that killed at least 15 people.

The railway authorities on Tuesday morning formed two probe bodies, while the deputy commissioner formed another one.

Additional District Magistrate Mitu Mariyum will lead the committee.

A Dhaka-bound train of 'Turna Nishita Express' collided head-on with a Chattogram-bound 'Udayan Express' around 3am on Tuesday, leaving nine dead on the scene and many others injured.
