Obituary

BARISHAL, Nov 9: Amena Begum, wife of Hossain Shah, founder editor of Daily Shahnama and Daily Banglar Bone, and mother of SANAK president and woman leader Professor Shah Sazeda and Poet Nasrat Shah Azad, died on Wednesday at 2:15am at her Baptist Mission Road house in the city due to old-age complication. She was 95.
She was buried at Barishal Muslim Graveyard on Thursday afternoon after her namaz-e-janaza.
She left behind three daughters, one son and a host of relatives to mourn her death.
