Helpline ‘333’ now in Sylhet

SYLHET, Nov 9: Helpline service '333' has been launched in Sylhet to provide information on the procedures of receiving public services which will be available for 24 hours.
Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen launched the call centre on Saturday at a ceremony at Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium here with Deputy Commissioner M Kazi Emdadul Islam in the chair.
"We've introduced the helpline to make Sylhet a digital oneCitizens won't have to go to government offices, rather services will come at their doorsteps. Now our target is to turn Bangladesh into a developed country by 2041," he said. The minister also expressed his sincere thanks to Prime Minister's ICT Affairs Adviser Sajeeb Wazed Joy for taking the initiative.    -BSS
